In “Finding Our Way,” the 6th edition of Roosevelt High School’s Ethnic Studies publication project, our students invite you into the sacred spaces of their homes and their community.
They share family recipes with special ingredients like laughter and storytelling. You will witness what it’s like to turn a cramped bedroom into your own classroom, with your bed as your new desk, and a computer screen as your closest form of daily interaction. “Finding Our Way” contains our students’ epiphanies and advice for the future, embedded in moments of resilience as they navigate during the first year of this new normal.
