There’s something for everyone–dreams of college graduation, elite athletic careers, globe-trotting travels, and more. Above all, the poets describe futures filled with compassion and ambition. As evidenced by the words on these pages, these bright futures are already well under way.
This book is the second publication partnership between the staff and volunteers of 826LA and the students and educators of Franklin Dual Language Academy. Across three sessions, students worked with 826LA volunteers to brainstorm, write, and polish their poems for publication. For many of the students, this is their first time as published authors.
