The 2021 Summer Writers Workshop was a collaboration between Picturing Mexican America (PMA) and 826LA. Over the course of five days, participants were insightful, historical narrators who took creative control in narrating the past. This empowered these young writers to plot themselves into the future. In addition to poetry and artwork created by participants, this chapbook features a special introduction by Mexican American writer, story-teller, and visual artist Myriam Gurba.
