"RHS Seedfolks Volume 2: Tales from Boyle Heights is a mixture of fiction and nonfiction. Inspired by the book, "Seedfolks" by Paul Fleischman, the students in Mr. Martinez’s ELD 2 class created their own extended chapters of the book. They share their perspective as a newcomer in the neighborhood of Boyle Heights who happened upon a whimsical garden. In this garden, and with the help of friends, mentors, and the community of Boyle Heights, their situations blossom and improve."
